Social Distancing
• The number of people in the hall at any one time will be limited to comply with current NSW State Government gathering limits. If the Hall Doors are closed it will be because we have reached the maximum number of people allowed inside. As soon as we can, we will open the doors to allow people to leave so that others may enter.
• It is encouraged that parents wait with their child/ren outside the hall before class AND come to the Hall at the end of class to ensure the smooth transition of drop-off and pickup and the safety of their child. Dance for Life will not allow any student aged 12 & under to leave the hall at the end of their class if there is no parent/carer waiting to collect them.
• To assist with the smooth transition between classes, there will be separate Hall Doors used for Entry into and Exit from the Hall. Signs on each Hall Door will clearly identify this.
• The chairs placed around the back and sides of the hall are not to be used by any student/parent/carer at any time either before/during/after dance classes.
• All students will be encouraged to sit on the carpets at the back of the hall – there will be markers spacing out where each child can sit, as they wait for their class to start or wait for their parent/carer to pick them up.
• There will be no partner work, unless with members of the same household, and all Barres will be disinfected before/after each class.
• Dance Play students are encouraged to BYO their own props including Wings, Wands, Shakers/Bells, and so on. Dance for Life will not be sharing any of their Dance Play props with children during this Covid-19 period. Sanitation and Hygiene
